Official launch at AfricaSan

ASKNet was successfully launched at the AfricaSan + 5 Conference in Durban, February 18 - 20, 2008.

An ASKNet presentation was made on Tuesday, Feb 19, 2008, by members of the temporary board:

  • Dr Nicola Rodda, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
  • Dr Kouassi Dongo, University of Cocody, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
  • Mr Charles Niwagaba, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda

    • An evening event, with drinks and snacks, was also organized. A conference stand organized by SEI/EcoSanRes was present at AfricaSan + 5, where more information on ASKNet could be found.
